No Age - Glitter 12"
Glitter sees No Age cement an already solidly established truth: that they are maturing, changing, and finding what they've wanted to be. There really is a sense of comfort about this release.
Bellies - S/T
There's a very defined sense of style/sound evident on this release. Both in terms of set up and production, there's a rigidly managed, small arsenal; a limited spectra of techniques. Subscribing, as it does, to such a restrictive rule set, this release draws the benefits of being simultaneously homogenous, dense, and unique. However, in favouring the hyper-narrow, it is inherently hit or miss.
